Chilly Chile

Picture cold and crap and you're there

all seasons in one day 0 °C

We arrived in Chile hopeful for more awesome adventures as before, but were kind of knocked back by how rubbish it was. Not much to do during the day, and evenings were very quiet and very cold. Trying to make the most of a bad situation we made our own fun.

What do you think of our funky new doos?

Kieran here is cutting Mark's hair with nail clippers...pro.

Because it was so god damn cold, we bought some sexay long johns. Easy ladies!

One of the only things to do in the city was the national zoo. Kieran was on cloud nine with all of the animal sightings. Prepare to be bamboozled by the animals spotted!

We had to delete the other 50 photos of old brain bum that Kieran took. This was the least disgusting one out of them.

Carrying on up the mountain there was Chile's version of Christ the Redeemer, but with a Mary vibe to it. Genius!
Incredible views = Incredible fun.

The cable car on the way down was a little bit rickety, so DaBoyz were pooing their pants a little.

On the last day in Chile we managed to hook up with our brother from another mother Junior from Florianopolis (owner of Backpackers), his girlfriend Amanda and her friend Pamela. This was definately the best time we had in Chile (the morning after was NOT so good). One tip: drink pisco in moderation. Lesson learnt.

Well that's Chile done...see, wasn't much to see there after all!

The lack of things to do, cold weather, and expensive places sent us off to our next destination in record timing. Some would say that is a good thing.

Sorry about this rubbish blog entry, the next one we promise will be better! wink wink, nudge nudge! Oh, friday night tonight in Wellington, we'll try to cause some drama for you lot back home.

Much love

DaBoyz

Buenos Aires

Party Time!

Buenos Aires was fun. We partied a lot, each night was stationed to a different club or bar. Then after two and a half weeks of smashing the granny out of it, we decided to get the hell out of there and get our livers back. Here are some pictures.

On our first night out in BA we started off with a gooden - Opera Bay rated as the best club (by us anyways). Named for obvious reasons that its shaped the same as the Sydney Opera House. Had to control ourselves from drinking too early as Buenos Airians only go out at about 2am.

On the next night (names of days were kind of forgotten by this point) we met up with a friend from Florianopolis who's been living in BA for 6 months or so now. We went out to Kilkenny - an Irish bar and got ourselves a good old PINT that we've been missing since the last one we had at Heathrow Airport over 3 months ago. Shortbread even managed to find himself a Guinness. Get in!

We ran out of girls for Paul...

Most mondays we ended up going down to Peurto Madera a.k.a. the waterfront for all you uncultured fools. Found an awesome place called Spell Cafe where all the waitresses were hot as were the female clientelle. Met a couple of Argentinian girls after Alex made a fool of himself ordering a Submarino. He thought it was just a cup of hot milk with a chocolate to eat, but then got told by the waitress later that you are supposed to put the chocolate in the milk like a submarine *Doh*. Mark and Paul wet themselves shortly after.

Tuesdays was Drum and Bass night, Alex was too busy reaching for the lazers to take some photos.

Wednesday we went to an 'After Office' night at Museo where they all go straight from work. Everyone was in suits and over 30. The ladies were old and hagged and the men were sweaty and sleazy. We still had fun though drinking crazy red bull stuff 'Speed' and vodka. Made us go even crazier than taking real speed.

Paul fit in well, he was sweaty and sleazy too.

At one point in the night we wanted a team photo, but couldn't find Paul. Luckily a replacement looky-likey was at hand to fill the role.

Here are the old hagged women on a hen night. What crackers!

During the day we found interesting things to do like mess about with camera modes

and dressing Paul up as a gangsta rapper. Why not eh?!

On Thursday nights it was a little hiphop club called Lost a.k.a. The Sweat Pit. Awesome music but only kicked off a little later after the breakdance battles (which we won all of).

When on our travels in BA we met up with another couple of people from Florianopolis Michelle and Yelena.

On one of the days where we saw sunlight, we thought we'd take a photo for our up and coming rap album - "Itchy Trigger Finger Niggaz" with such hits as 'Drive by while high', 'Big willies, 9 milli' and 'AK spray'. Buy that shit straight from your local HMP!

Saturday rolled around and another night in Opera Bay was done. Check dat shit.

One night, when DaBoyz were rolling on their own, testosterone was on an all time high so decided to nip in for a *cheeky* drink in the most manly place we could find. We ended up in hooters. Sweeet.

They were impressed with our beer drinking skills amongst other things (girls like guys with skills), so they invited us out with them the next night.

Good times.

Somewhere inbetween the partying we fit in a bit of culture. Don't think we're all here for partying and girls alone. We're so much more high brow than that partner!

United States Park - Those wallies spent 4 million Argentinian pesos on a big metal flower that opens up on sunlight and closes in dark. Could've (should've) been used to fund our tour...a much better cause if you ask us!

Tango lesson and show:
Yes, our talents never end! Aswell as samba superstars, we have now mastered the lost art of tango. It's like sex on your feet.

S8001538.jpg

S8001541.jpg

S8001547.jpg

Now this one we aren't sure about. Is it a man? Is it a woman? Who knows, but Alex said she sure could tango! If only she'd put a bit more slap on...guys love it when you really gloop it on.

S8001549.jpg

The girls (Michelle, Yelena and Laura) were good enough to cook us what was close enough to a English fry up as possible. We even had tea called 'Big Ben' - authentic or what?!

S8001625.jpg

Apart from this meal, every other meal was steak for breakfast (if awake), lunch and dinner. Steak is amazing here so it's just gotta be done! Hence why we are fat now. Oh, the beer too.

Mark said grace before every meal in his pope outfit:

Buenos Aires done...next location please!

Signing off,
